Intern Salary: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Location: Farmingdale, NY 11735

Working Hours: 8-16 hours/week, within the hours of 9:30-5:30, Monday-Friday (flexible)

We are an online retailer working with all the major marketplaces.

The Accounting Intern will work directly with the Accounting Manager. A strong work ethic and being extremely detail oriented is imperative for this role, as the Accounting Intern has the potential to grow into regular position.
Assist in data entry (A/P invoices), reconciling weekly statements from vendors, special projects
Assist in preparing sales tax return report
Assist in preparing monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
Assist in inventory reconciliation for credit request

REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
0-1 years' accounting experience.
Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, Formulas, etc.)
Strong organizational skills
Pays close attention to detail
Adaptability: must be able to problem-solve with little notice
