Location: Farmingdale, NY
Essential Functions:
Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations
Reconcile daily and monthly credit card expenses
Enter vendor invoices and process payments
Analyze period-over-period fluctuations and provide management with insightful variance commentary
Prepare general journal entries
Assist with the month-end closing process
Support the weekly payroll process
Assist with new employee filing and account setup
Participate in insurance premium audits
Help with placing orders
Contribute to special projects as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related majors
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Accounting
Experience with QuickBooks is preferred
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year. Willing to sponsor!
