Cathay Home Inc. is a leading home textile design and manufacturing company. With its headquarter located in New York City, warehouse in New Jersey, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Mexico City, factories in multiple countries, Cathay Home Inc. offers a full complement of products and services including manufacture, import, market research, sales, product development, design, logistics, EDI, VMI, drop ship and warehousing.

We are looking for a motivated and professional product development & production specialist. Candidate will be able to track production processes on a daily basis, maintain contact with overseas factories as necessary, do marketing researches and generating creative ideas of product development, create purchase orders and maintain production data, as well as, follow up on sample approval and interface with designers, sales team, stock planning and account managers. Responsibilities include:

Review time and action calendar for each assigned program for all necessary deadlines.
Follow up with factories on samples, production orders, shipping schedules, etc.
Create sales and purchase orders.
Market researches and generate product development ideas

Desired Skills and Experience:
3 years experience in related industry required.
Bachelor’s Degree.
Extremely detailed, organized, able to work under pressure.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Ability to handle multi tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook
Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop/Exenta a plus.
Must be fluent in Chinese and English.
Legal authorization to work in the United States
