Financial Controller JD
The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of accounting and finance concepts, superb analytical abilities, excellent attention to detail, and be able to communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

l Oversee accounting operations (including AP, AR, payroll, cost accounting, inventory accounting, revenue recognition)
l Manage all banking activities
l Review of journal entries and bank reconciliations
l Managing and expediting the month close and reporting processes, including variance analysis, monitoring working capital, liquidity, and other internal KPIs
l Publish timely financial statements to company management, shareholders, and the board
l Provide proactive analysis to identify areas for efficiencies throughout the P&L
l Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
l Work with external tax accountants on tax preparation
l Perform and oversee other ad hoc analyses requested by management

QUALIFICATIONS

l 7+ years of accounting experience (CPA a plus)
l Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
l Advanced proficiency with Quickbooks, accounting softwares, EDI softwares, and Microsoft Office products
l Experience with consumer products
l Strong analytical and organizational skills
l Self starter and willingness to work in a high growth, dynamic startup environment
l Excellent oral/written communication skills
l Experience with multi-entity companies a plus
