Entry Level Repair Technician


Payway Inc. is a globally renowned developer and manufacturer for banknote counterfeit detectors and identification devices. Our entire product line is designed and manufactured in Taiwan. Our products have been marketed to dozens of countries globally。and have been widely applied in various systems of vending。gaming。amusement and Kiosk machines.
We have an immediate opening for an Entry Level Repair Technician that will help our growing business. We are looking for friendly team player who is courteous with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. In this role, you’ll need a strong technical aptitude, optimized troubleshooting methodologies, and good communication skills.

Job Description:
• Answer incoming calls and assist customers with their questions or requests
• Issue Return Material Authorization (RMA) numbers to customers needing to send in units for repair, via email and over the phone
• Perform diagnostics using company software, hardware and other methods to determine root cause of failure and replace failing or defective components
• Free hand soldering THT/SMD experience is also a plus, but will provide training
• Assist with unloading monthly shipping containers which arrive with new product, shipped from our HQ
• Monitor parts supply stock (motors, PCB boards, housing assemblies, etc.) as items are used during service and inform Service Department supervisor if/when stock is getting low

Requirements:
• High School Diploma
• Excellent Customer Support Skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn

Pay: $20--$23 per hour + commission opportunities
