The operation Coordinator will be responsible for operations of container shipment and coordination with truck operators from origin to destination via ocean carrier. This role will do data entry and editing regarding operational process, utilizing our customized transportation management systems. The associate will implement truckload freight and solve the day-to-day issues in fast paced environment.
Job descriptions
* Track and trace containers (port availability, delivery status etc.)
* Monitor driver work schedules and support on-time delivery
* Coordinate and communicate with customers, drivers, and stake holders for cargo movements
* Contact customer warehouses, terminals, and shipping lines via phone and email
* Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve freight carrier issues in a timely and positive manner
* Maintain accurate records for transportation activities and information updates on TMS system
Qualifications
* Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage time effectively
* Positive and flexible mindset to resolve issues in efficient manner
* Detail oriented for data entry
* Ability to work in a team environment
Requirements
* Computer proficiency with Outlook, Google Sheets
* Communication sill in English (Bilingual in Korean or Chinese is a plus)
