Architectural Project Manager
Ali-General Contractor US (ALIGCUS) was founded in 2008 and based in Los Angeles, CA. After 15 years of development, the company has already developed into a full-service real estate enterprise integrating real estate investment consulting, architectural design, landscape design, and interior design.
We are looking for a full-time Chinese-speaking Architectural Department Manager. As an Architectural Department Manager at ALIGCUS, you will expect some responsibilities as follows:
Job Description:
● Lead both architect teams in the U.S. office and China office, manage and supervise two teams accomplishing all architectural projects on time with high quality;
● Enhance the communication, connection, and collaboration between the U.S. architect team and the China architect team, coordinate and cooperate efficiently to promote the progress of the project;
● Train both teams, formulate a unified standard operating procedure, and improve working ability and efficiency from technical and communication perspectives;
● Liaise with city/county authorities and related organizations, promptly following through with planning submissions, correction discussions, resubmissions, and permit submissions;
● Schedule team work time and workload efficiently to meet project deadlines and commitments;
● Actively participate in project meetings, documenting discussions through detailed meeting minutes, and contribute to quality assurance/quality control review sessions at project milestones;
● Lead teams to prepare and deliver architectural plans for ADUs, exhibit proficiency in drafting plans and ensuring accurate documentation;
● Check plans for permits before submission, ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations.
Qualifications:
● Strong communication skills, with proficiency in both Chinese Mandarin and English to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders;
● Bachelor39;s degree in Architecture or a related field from a U.S. institution;
● Minimum of two (2) years of architectural team management work experience in the U.S., good at facilitating project execution and effective project management;
● Good amount of work experience in small and medium projects (e.g. ADU, single family, etc), demonstrating a sound understanding of architectural practices, project process, site planning, and building codes, can quickly deal with correction as well as other related issues and submit plans with good quality;
● Excellent problem-solving skills, an independent and analytical mindset, attentive listening abilities, and a commitment to follow through;
● Team leadership and coordination ability, goal-oriented, strong subjective initiative, efficient and open-minded;
● Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively within a team, fostering positive working relationships with other coworkers;
● Proficiency in Autodesk Revit/AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite;
● Possession of a valid California Driver39;s License and reliable transportation.
Job Types: Full-time
Pay: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay
